Town of Emerald Isle now offers courtesy life jackets, free of charge, for loan (on a first come, first served basis) to visitors at the Eastern Ocean Regional Access and Western Ocean Regional Access.
The courtesy life jackets are available at each lifeguard station

ANNUAL EVENTS
ST. PATRICK’S DAY FESTIVAL– FRIDAY NIGHT AND ALL-DAY SATURDAY in MARCH.
The St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Emerald Isle is an all-day event held at the Emerald Plantation Shopping Center.
Fun for all ages, the St. Patrick’s Day Festival features a petting zoo, amusement rides, a climbing wall, face painting, plus over 75 arts and crafts vendors, clowns and much more. There will also be a variety of foods including funnel cakes, hamburgers, BBQ and more.
ANNUAL EMERALD ISLE BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL –end of September on the beach in front of the Western Access-Islander Drive, Emerald Isle, NC
